Birthday Vibrations!

A small gathering of folks near and dear to me provided the backdrop for a truly transcendant experience for me on Saturday evening.  My birthday falling on a Saturday was a clear indication from the Universe to have a party, no?  :-)  Dear friends offered to host it, and lo and behold, a fine time was had by all!

And by that I mean, drumming was the order of the event.  It all unfolded just as I dreamed ... amazing people, fantastic potluck food, and a serious overdose of drumming.  Quite a few of those attending are brilliant, beautiful drummers.  The stage was set by the fire in the fireplace, and the drumming just morphed into a most amazing journey into my being ... I'd never had quite an experience like that before.

The drum was on my lap, and as I played it, I became acutely aware of its voice.  I knew that its auditory expression was a combination of my inspiration, executed through the timbre and tone and character of that particular drum.  I reveled in that for a while, experimenting with hearing that voice, and expressing it, in different ways.  It was quite revelatory, in more ways than one.

And then I took a few steps back, and realized that what we were creating here was an orchestra, for lack of a better word ... a tapestry of sounds, all interwoven and playing to and balancing off of each other.  Each drum with its player was a separate voice, and how the resulting sounds came together to blend into this beautiful session was quite profound and significant for me.

I found myself utilizing the vibration--soaking it up intentionally into my chakras, holding the drum in different places as I played it, to target the various chakras.  I felt it really rattle my core, echo through my chakras, fill me up with its presence when I could allow it.

A cleansing to the core, a re-balancing and re-storing that has been long awaited... I am so grateful for dear friends, simple pleasures, profound insights and  ... Birthdays!

Wow.  A wild ride, to be sure.  I wish you a November as profound!

A spring gathering of dowsers in the Green Mountains

Woke up with the birds--no, scratch that. I beat 'em by a long shot. 3:00 a.m. And just kept thinking about the wonderful connections and inspiration that happened at the Dowsers convention.

It was incre
dible! So many good people, both attendees, and speaker/vendors. I enjoyed hanging out with so many old friends, and turning on new ones to my incredible energy tools and what they do. It--the convention--was a transformative experience for many people. One new customer--a woman I know I'll keep in touch with--had one major and 2 mini-breakdowns in the first 3 days. Having experienced the death of her sister and mother to cancer, and her ex to suicide, all in the last 2+ years, there was a lot of pain that needed releasing. The third one happened in front of my booth. I had just applied some of my energy essences to her, and balanced her aura with a wanding technique, when another friend came up and showed us his new essential oil which he'd just purchased from another vendor. "It's called Transformation," he told us, and applied a drop to our 3rd eye chakras. Well, a couple minutes later this woman burst into tears and sobbed for 5 minutes on the shoulder of another wonderful customer-friend who happened by. Then she stopped and started laughing and smiling again. Transformation indeed!

It was so good to be able to have those conversations that I have wanted to have for a long time with friends I haven't seen in months, or longer. Catching up on, not only personal things, but comparing notes on the cosmic and global issues. Wonderful, inspired and inspiring conversations happened every time I turned around. The real fun part for me was turning people on to my essences and batteries. Especially the ones who are "out there" anyway. They sit down with my batteries, hold it to the heart chakra for a moment, and then go, "Oh! ... Oh, yes. Nice." and then they're quiet for a minute, while I watch the facial expressions go from bliss to amazement to joy and back again. I love it.

The really sensitive ones, John Butler, for instance, an amazing healer from Syracuse, just giggled the second he picked it up. Then he laughed. This is all with his eyes closed, he's just taking in the energy and having a ball with it. After trying the Ascension 2012 battery, when he finally could open his eyes, he said, haltingly, "This battery takes you to other dimensions." he paused, closed his eyes again. "You don't just bounce right back," he added. He bought it, right then and there, along with the Ascendant Man Battery. These are the two brand-new ones I made right before convention, and they were a big hit.

Wil Alaura, another great healer in the Syracuse area, enjoyed the batteries also. I ran him through the demonstration meditation, and he told me what he saw psychically, which was very cool. W
hen I pointed out that it could be used two ways, one with the logo away from you, and one with it toward you, he said, "Well, there's a vortex in front of the logo, about 2 inches in front of it, it's right there, I see it." So, that was great; confirmation on what I already knew. The logo I created with MacDragon's help a couple years ago is the perfect symbol to represent my Work. Wil also gave me some great ideas about getting my essences out to practitioners, which I plan to follow up on. He bought the Anti-Stress and the Light Me Up batteries, two of my favorites.

I didn't attend many presentations at all, because I was at my booth selling and sharing and enjoying the people. One I did attend, however, was Darrell Brann's. I forget the title, but it was fantastic. I know that what I'm doing is leading edge, and Darrell's work is also way ahead of the curve. It's nice to meet others who are sailing these uncharted waters. It is a comfort knowing I'm not alone, even though it feels that way a lot. I highly recommend his information. The other really exciting thing about convention was being able to have
Barbara Evans's Image Key cards there, hot off the press. I was one of the five people to receive the prototype deck, which I brought to my Thursday morning Goddess Gathering. We worked with it, loved it, and provided some feedback for Barbara. The final product turned out beautifully. They are gorgeous! It's another thing, though, that people have to "get." "These aren't just pictures," I tell them. "They're multidimensional. A meditation with these images will take you amazing places." Some people did get it, and the cards (a really great price! $22). Barbara is doing an 11-11-11 event in Michigan, and has asked me to come. That's something to look forward to! Check out her divinely-inspired work at http://crystalwingshealingart.com/.

The other really fun part was hanging out with my friend Lee, a crystal miner from Arkansas. He brings boxes full of amazing quartz and it's all dazzling. We share a booth, so I basked in their glow the whole time. His prices were low, quality was outrageous. Everyone was happy. OK, that's it for now. 6:11, time to get up and at 'em. Or, as my dad used to say, "Bounden duty time."

Make your day a good one! :-)

A Cosmic Healing Horse Tale – Part I

I had the extreme pleasure yesterday of receiving an incredible and quite advanced healing session yesterday at the hands of a dear friend and her partner. This cold has settled in my chest, and after a lifetime of asthma, that gets problematic. I’m not bouncing back, as I’m still not quite recovered from last fall’s illness. Thus, I was glad to have the opportunity to be on Cyndi’s table.

When we got to their house, the first thing I saw upon entering was two Siamese cats curled up in a kitchen chair. They looked right at me and my friend I came with, those two pairs of startling blue round eyes not just looking at me, but through me. Siamese cats are my favorite type of cat. These two are gorgeous. One big and dark & fluffy, the other small, sleek and very light. Carl & Louie. I had to laugh.

Coming to a new place and discovering animals there is and has always been a 2-edged sword. The internal dialogue goes something like this: oh, shit—cats. Well, maybe I won’t react to them. Maybe I’ll be ok. Did I bring my inhaler? Its 2 hours home… no, I’ll be ok. Maybe they don’t shed too badly. … you get the picture. Having been deathly allergic to horses and seriously allergic to anything else with fur or feathers my entire life has created this mindset, by necessity. The bitch is, I love animals. I love them. The thought of being able to bury my face in a cat or dog’s soft fur is so fantastic. The fantasy of riding a horse transfixes me, I can get lost in the visual, I have always loved them so much. The reality is the opposite.

I decided there, in Cyndi’s kitchen, that I would be all right. I squatted down on the floor as the big cat, Carl, came over to greet me. He sniffed my hand, I stroked his head, ran my hand down his back; I set my things down and immediately washed my hands. Cats always seem to make a beeline for me—never fails.

Once up on Cyndi’s table in her healing space, we talked about the allergy thing (I’ve mentioned it in a previous blog). My friend I came with, Laura, said, “It’s interesting that Marna and I connected, because I have cats, dogs and horses.” She looked at me. “Perhaps that’s why, so you can heal this.”

“I’m in,” I said. “And I want to say for the record that, if I find a cat I’m compatible with, I’m open to having one in the house.” That was quite a declaration for me to make—my statement to the Universe that I’m ready to move on from all this.

Anyway, while I may have allergies to mold, dust, pollen, etc., the animal thing is not an allergy, as mentioned in my blog Getting Cosmic I. The problem with cats, according to this psychic reading I had years ago with Elwood Babbit, was the result of a psychic scar from two lifetimes in which I ended up—an unlucky Christian—as leonine lunch. OK, so what was the problem with horses, why was I “allergic” to them, I asked?

That was a different story, as he related it to me—Another lifetime in the ancient past I was part of a tribe in what is Saudi Arabia. I was the tribal healer/shaman. I was also very involved with “that which is the Horse,” he intoned. “… very skilled on horseback,” he channeled to me, even doing trick riding for hours a day. One day, I was thrown from the horse, breaking my neck instantly, fatally. The tribe’s mourning was so great, that it created a thought form that attached itself to me. I could get rid of the problem, he told me in his trance, by meditating on it, going back in time to that event and accepting it, breaking up that thought form and creating a new reality.

This was fall of 1983, and I was tantalized by the thought I could shift this thing, this problem that kept me apart from animals and kept me from spending time with horses. As a young child I read every book about horses I could find, I had toy plastic horses that I played with every day, and most days in elementary school my friends and I were horses galloping around the playground. I’m not kidding, we did that. I was obsessed with horses.

I sat with this channeled information for a couple days, mulling it over with my Higher Self and spirit guides. Then in the beautiful late morning sunshine one day I took a small rutilated crystal ball and sat out in the sun with it, started a meditation. When I was in the right headspace, I asked my Higher Self to connect me to that time, that event, that version of me. And there I was.
